Cleartax is simplifying and digitizing the CFO’s office. Cleartax works with 5000+ corporates and 600,000+ SMEs. This has propelled our CAGR to 70% for the last three years. We are tracking at $40m ARR. Cleartax is now on the way to becoming a Global player. We have already expanded to Middle East (Saudi Arabia and UAE), South East Asia (Malaysia and Singapore) and have very recently launched our Europe (EU) business and we require builders who can support this Global expansion vision for ClearTax.

About the Role

As one of the first SDR hires in ClearTax’s European expansion, you’ll play a foundational role in driving revenue growth in this new market. This is a high-impact opportunity to build a strong sales pipeline from the ground up and shape our go-to-market strategy. We’re looking for a self-motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. In this role, you won’t just rely on inbound leads—you’ll be at the forefront of outbound prospecting, engaging decision-makers, and creating opportunities with top enterprises across Europe.

Success in this role requires proactive outreach, persistence, and strong follow-up skills to convert prospects into qualified opportunities. As an early team member, you’ll have the chance to work closely with sales leadership, gain deep exposure to enterprise SaaS selling, and fast-track your career growth.

Responsibilities (What you'll be expected to do)

  • Generate qualified opportunities for the company by rigorously prospecting and researching (outbound) in Europe
  • Do rigorous research on companies, and build an effective sales pipeline by effective prospecting and lead follow ups
  • Strike and initiate conversations with our personas: CFOs, CIOs, Finance head, Tax Head, IT Heads
  • Come up with creative/personalized emails and campaigns on Emails/LinkedIn/Calling etc to draw the attention of prospects
  • Be the face of ClearTax and pitch the company and our products to the prospects.
  • Constantly update details of lead, your discussion and activity in CRM
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales opportunities
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified leads and sales representatives.
  • Refine outreach strategies, and learn about Clear's solution to be more effective

Great to haves

  • Proficiency in one of the local languages - either French, Dutch is needed, along with English proficiency. Brownie points to tri-lingual candidates
  • 1-2 years of minimum experience in doing Outbound Saas for Europe market, specifically Belgium, France, Netherlands markets, however experience is not really a factor as long as you bring in the right set of skills and rigour needed for the role
  • Hustle attitude, with curiosity to learn new things is a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (Or any other CRM) is good to have
  • A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets
  • Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies
  • Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven
  • Go getter attitude
