5G & VoLTE senior optimization engineer

The job holder is responsible for 5G and Voice Over LTE optimization and layers strategy, also will be responiosble for monitoring network performance and apply changes to meet target KPIs/KQIs and SLAs

Key Accountabilities

• Set network 5G and VoLTE Network strategy, Optimization and performance objectives, in coordination with the Network performance and optimization departments and Corporate Performance Department, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and division strategic objectives

• Manage the day-to-day 5G and VoLTE optimization and performance, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees in a motivated work environment

• Build and present network strategy and optimization roadmap for senior management

• Managing customer expectations in line with NPM scope of work

• Manage the consolidation process of regional and district demand data to ensure the preservation of master data

• Manage network technical dependencies in coordination with Managed services Scope of Work

• Manage network technical dependencies in coordination with the other technology departments

• End to End 5G NSA and SA troubleshooting and root cause analysis, customer complaints analysis and radio traces analysis

• Ensure the resolution of capacity, performance, and coverage gaps issues with coordination with radio planning unit 

• Ensure network optimization and efficiency in coordination with the managed services provider in order to achieve customer satisfaction, SLAs, KPIs and PIs

• Ensure the recommendation and adoption of new radio technologies in order to meet NPM baseline KPIs/KQIs

• Introduce new optimization techniques and develop network performance reporting

• Introduce new features improving network performance and enhancing ROI

• Manage relationships with radio network technology partners to align technology capabilities to marketing / and sales plans

• Keep informed of and participate in local, regional and international initiatives in the radio optimization network field to identify opportunities for enhancement of Huawei capabilities

• Monitor and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of the optimization unit

• Develop network improvement plans across NT layers and technologies

• Develop and motivate staff, provide formal and training programs for employees in order to maximize subordinate and Division performance

Educational Qualifications :

• Engineering or computer science-related field or equivalent

Experience :

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar role
