* ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Trade Development Managerat BAT Algeria will be responsible for executing trade strategies, managing budgets, and driving market growth. The role involves overseeing consumer engagement, optimizing processes, and collaborating closely with distributors to ensure successful campaign implementation. The manager will also work with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities.
* WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ?
Integration of marketing information and market intelligence into overall business plans
Effective integration of business and cluster plans
Development of business and cluster strategies based on business assessment and SWOT’s – integrated into LOS delivery for company objectives.
Develop an appropriate consumer dialogue strategy to meet business objectives using consumer and trade research data.
Ensure for the cluster strategy the respective consumer segments and the recommended approach
Define consumer trading terms (e.g. 121 gifts / Bonuses / Etc) in the commercial planning, following guidelines set by the Head of Trade.
For Route to market , provide input on consumer segment requirements to the Head of Trade.
Formulate contractual payments policy. With business partners such as agencies and customers for activations – consumer activities
Assess business performance of BAT and competitors for respective consumer segments and cluster, in order to enhance effectiveness of developed programmes.
* ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
University degree in relevant field with at least 5 years of experience, FMCG experience is a plus
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
Great interpersonal skills
Effective influencing skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English
Strong MS office skills, mainly Excel and Power Point
Well organised with good time management skills
