Procurement Specialist

A leading food and beverage company based in Algeria, currently seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes.
• Develop and execute RFP & RFQ packages, including solicitation planning, bid evaluation, award recommendation, and supplier onboarding.
• Manage bid and tender processes in compliance with company policies, ensuring integrity, transparency, and traceability.
• Lead contract negotiations, incorporating procurement best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in engineering, legal, project management, and finance to align procurement actions with technical and operational goals.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring contract compliance, quality, cost control, and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Use ERP/MRP systems (such as SAPs ) to manage procurement transactions, track milestones, and report procurement KPIs.
• Provide leadership through process improvement initiatives, mentoring junior staff where applicable, and promoting procurement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Procurement , preferably within a holding company or a fast-paced, multi-sector organization.
• Master's degree from a business school or a related field.
• Minimum 02 years experience in the field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role related to procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
