Multinational company specializing in pharmaceutical production is looking for a Pharmacist Technical Director (Production) to lead the regulatory affairs and quality departments

Job responsibilities :

  • Lead all activities related to the registration and maintenance of Registration Decisions in compliance with current regulations and procedures. Release of finished products. as well as interactions with the authorities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's quality strategy, as well as the various quality projects in coordination with the parent company.
  • Develop and implement the Quality Assurance system within the plant, in compliance with GxPs
  • Evaluate the quality system and verify its level of application in relation to regulatory requirements and pharmaceutical standards.
  • Ensure that all the plant's operational departments comply with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the compliance of pharmaceutical operations

Position requirements

  • Hold a pharmacist's diploma with 08 to 10 years' experience in a similar position in a multinational environment.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry requirements (cGMP, ICH, WHO, PIC'S, ISO (15378), etc.).
  • Familiarity with project management tools and quality risk management.
  • Superior organizational and leadership skills with the ability to help the team grow and prosper.
  • Experience interfacing with customers and partners and meeting their quality expectations.
  • Demonstrated team-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate problems effectively.
  • Practical knowledge
  • Able to identify activity monitoring indicators, analyze performance results, and define areas for improvement.
  • Perfect mastery of continuous improvement methods and tools (Ishikawa, 05 why, QQOQCCP, Gemba solving problem, SMED).
  • Ability to convince / defend ideas.
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Be a proactive change agent
  • Fluent in English and French, able to speak, read and write reports, emails and/or information to superiors and any external contacts within the scope of the job
