Linux Administrator

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to lead our enterprise infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Linux systems administration, strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, and extensive experience with virtualization platforms. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex infrastructure while providing technical leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems in both physical and virtual environments

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication protocols.

• Architect and implement high-availability solutions for critical systems

• Manage integration between Linux and Windows environments

• Monitor system performance and optimize system resources

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

• Configure and maintain security measures including firewalls, SSH, and SSL certificates

• Apply patches and updates to ensure security and stability.

• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and perform root cause analysis

• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting and other automation tools

• Provide technical support and collaborate with other IT teams
