Environmental Engineer

An important company in the construction field is seeking an Environmental Engineer who will ensure that construction projects meet environmental regulations and sustainability standards. This role involves evaluating environmental impacts, ensuring compliance, and implementing strategies to minimize negative environmental effects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives to minimize the company's environmental impact.

· Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify potential risks and areas for

improvement.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and laws.

· Monitor and track environmental performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement environmental

management plans.

· Provide technical expertise and support to operational teams to ensure environmental standards are met.

· Conduct regular site inspections and investigations to identify potential environmental hazards and recommend solutions.

· Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to stay

informed of any changes in environmental laws and regulations.

· Implement and maintain an environmental management system to track and report on the company's environmental performance.

· Educate and train employees on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in environmental technology to

· Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure their products and services meet the company's environmental standards.

· Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies and senior management.

· Participate in community outreach programs to promote the company's environmental initiatives and build positive relationships with local communities.

· Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies during environmental

inspections and audits.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related field.

Job Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience, 3 years of relevant working experience.

Job Knowledge and Skills: Strong Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and sustainability practices. Understanding local and international environmental policies, such as ISO 14001, EPA standards, and sustainability regulations. Identifying environmental risks and designing effective solutions. Ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including government agencies and companies.
