Lifting supervisor Specialist

Proficiencies

The Competent Engineer will have all the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to safely engineer a highly complex lift.

This person must have adequate technical and practical knowledge and experience to:

· Answer queries about the suitability of lifting equipment

· Advise in respect of the development and execution of lifting plans and TRAs for critical lifts

· Aid in training and assessment of Performing Authorities, Equipment Operators and Riggers.

· Inspect lifting equipment where requested to confirm continued fitness for use.

Education & Training Required

Engineering degree from an institute, university, or equivalent.

Experience Level

10 years experience in construction and maintenance mechanical field

05 years experience in a lifting supervision role.

Experience working in accordance with hydrocarbon plant HS&E regulations and permit systems.

Completion of training in lifting operations
