Job Title: Recruitment Supervisor
Location: Algeria
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager


Job Purpose

The Recruitment Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day recruitment activities to ensure the organization attracts and hires qualified candidates efficiently. The role involves leading a small team of recruiters, supporting hiring managers, and ensuring recruitment processes comply with company standards and Algerian labor laws.


Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the recruitment team in daily operations.
  • Coordinate the full recruitment cycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria.
  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain candidate databases and ensure accurate reporting of all recruitment activities.
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and participate in job fairs or recruitment events.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior recruiters to improve performance and consistency.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and Algerian labor regulations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports for the HR Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in recruitment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior recruiter role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment methods, tools, and local labor laws.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency is an asset.

Working Conditions

  • Based in Algeria with occasional travel for recruitment or employer branding events.
