Position Summary
The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing retail operations, ensuring that stores deliver exceptional customer experiences, achieve sales targets, and reflect the company’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
Manage daily retail operations across Vivo Algeria stores, including merchandising, inventory, and after-sales service.
Ensure compliance with company policies,
Maintain brand standards in store layout, customer service, and product presentation.
Sales & Market Growth
Drive sales performance by implementing local marketing strategies aligned with Vivo’s global vision.
Monitor KPIs such as sales revenue, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
Identify market trends and competitor activities to strengthen Vivo’s retail presence.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and develop retail staff to embody Vivo’s values and deliver superior service.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement coaching plans.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across retail teams.
Customer Experience
Ensure a user-oriented approach in all retail interactions.
Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery.
Financial & Reporting
Manage store budgets, expenses, and profitability.
Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in mobile or consumer electronics.
Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to manage diverse teams.
Track record of achieving sales targets and managing budgets.
Knowledge of Algerian retail market dynamics and customer behavior.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Must own a car and have a valid driver's license for travel.
