We are looking for a Market Research & Product Analyst to strengthen our Go‑to‑Market strategy in the mobile phone sector. The role focuses on competitive intelligence, retail channel monitoring, and frontline consumer research (street interviews and surveys).
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Competitive Insights
Data Intelligence: Gather and regularly update comprehensive product data, technical specifications, and life-cycle information from the mobile industry.
Retail & Channel Monitoring: Track competitors' frontline retail movements, including pricing fluctuations, promotional activities (gifts/discounts), and Point of Sale Materials (POSM) execution in the local market.
Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis and benchmark comparisons against competitor market movements to identify market gaps.
Market Trend Tracking: Monitor smartphone market trends, including 5G developments, emerging technologies, and shifts in local market dynamics.
2. Consumer Research & Insights
Field Execution: Execute useroriented research methodologies, focusing on frontline execution such as street interviews, quantitative surveys, and in-depth qualitative studies.
Omnichannel Feedback: Collect direct consumer feedback on product design, color preferences, brand perception, and specific usage scenarios across both offline field visits and online platforms (social media/e-commerce).
Data Quality Management: Ensure the validity, accuracy, and integrity of all raw data collected from local consumer surveys and field interviews.
Actionable Insights: Analyze consumer behavior and refine user profiles to deliver structured, data-backed recommendations and reports for the overarching GTM strategy
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of experience in product marketing (mobile phones or consumer electronics preferred).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge of mobile technology and Algerian retail dynamics.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Fluent in English.
