Job Offer: Purchase Manager – International Procurement & Logistics

Location: Algiers Hydra Employment Type: Full-time 8AM to 4H30 PM

we are a leading distributor of polymer products, committed to providing the best quality, service, and pricing in the Algerian market. We are looking for a Purchase Manager to oversee our international procurement operations and manage the entire importation process from A to Z.

Key Responsibilities:

International Procurement:

  • Follow Up on purchasing of polymers products.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management:

  • Coordinate shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
  • Monitor and optimize delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
  • Liaise with transport and warehouse teams for stock management.

Banking & Import Domiciliation:

  • Handle banking procedures, including letter of credit (LC), SWIFT transfers, and financial documentation.
  • Oversee import domiciliation and ensure compliance with Algerian regulations.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure smooth international transactions.

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Ensure all import documentation, certificates, and customs declarations are in order.
  • Stay up to date with import regulations, tariffs, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting for audits and financial tracking. Required Skills & Qualifications:

-Experience: Minimum 5 years in international purchasing, imports, and logistics.
- Knowledge of Banking & Domiciliation: Strong understanding of international trade finance, LC processing, and import banking procedures.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Expertise: Familiarity with shipping terms (Incoterms), freight forwarding, and customs processes.
- Negotiation & Communication skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, resolve supplier issues, and manage costs effectively.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Capable of managing multiple suppliers, shipments, and financial transactions simultaneously.

- F lexibility & adaptability: Highly adaptable and capable of integrating into our work environment, with the ability to adjust to evolving work conditions
- Languages: Fluent in English and French
