OneClick is a fast-growing fintech company transforming digital payments in Algeria. We power mobile top-ups, gift cards, subscriptions, and payments through a robust technology platform integrated with major banking and telecom systems. Our mission is to provide secure, efficient, and scalable digital financial services while building the foundation for a full super-app ecosystem.
We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer to strengthen our core platform infrastructure. You will design and implement backend systems, develop APIs, integrate payment and telecom providers, and ensure the stability and security of mission-critical services. This role involves working closely with frontend, product, and operations teams to build scalable features and support the growth of OneClick’s digital ecosystem.
Design, build, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and microservices.
Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Integrate with external providers (payments, telecom APIs, partners, marketplaces).
Write clean, documented, and maintainable code with best development practices.
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot system bottlenecks.
Implement monitoring, logging, and automated alerts for critical services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features.
Ensure compliance with fintech security standards and data-protection requirements.
2–4 years of backend development experience.
Strong expertise in Node.js (Express, NestJS) or another backend framework.
Good understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with containerization and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
Understanding of system security, authentication, and API authorization.
Experience with payment systems, telecom integrations, or fintech architecture is an advantage.
Proficient in Git and CI/CD workflows.
