Controls Field Services Engineer - Technical Advisor

We are currently recruiting for Controls Field Services Technical Advisors able to supervise Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Heavy Duty/Aero-Derivative Gas Turbines and Steam Turbines for Power Generation or Oil & Gas applications.

USUAL RESPONSABILITIES:

• understanding contractual requirements and head office instructions.
• Ensure all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company EHS guidelines and procedures.
• Reviewing plant engineering documents and P&ID's.
• Troubleshooting of plant systems and equipment.
• Resource planning direction on the field.
• Forecast tools and materials required to complete the work scope.
• Active involvement and management of all controlls activities on site during installation, commissioning and maintenance phases of both turbine and auxiliary systems when required.
• Able to work with PLC logics.
• Interpret electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
• Ensure the correct installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and maintenance practices are followed.
• Provision of general knowledge to all relevant parties of turbine instrumentation and calibration when needed.
• Transmit technical expertise to customers, field technicians and operators.
• Punctuality and accuracy of internal and externals.
• Able to participate in meetings with customers when required.
• Provide customers with technical direction and support on Original Equipement Manufacturer (OEM) packaged products.
