PURPOSE:
The QA Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by performing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers. This position is ideal for those early in their QA career, offering opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects.
Design, write, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Document and report bugs clearly and concisely using tracking tools.
Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and test objectives.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing after issues are resolved.
Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to QA documentation.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in software testing.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
