Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in [insert region]. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to drive growth through effective team leadership and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:
    Meet sell-in targets and manage inventory levels (M/L) effectively.
  • Purchase Order Management:
    Issue pre-planned purchase orders with each distributor by model according to the PSI (Projected Sales Inventory).
  • Closing and Delivery Follow-Up:
    Ensure timely closing of sales and follow up on deliveries to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis and Sales Actions:
    Conduct thorough analysis of the PSI, making sales actions based on stock demand and market conditions. Set up promotions with distributors and in business stores to boost sales.
  • Payment Planning:
    Develop monthly payment plans with distributors according to supply, ensuring rapid sales of best sellers and implementing specific plans to generate cash flow while avoiding overdue by liquidating distributor stock.
  • Sell-Through Planning:
    Create 3-month sell-through plans to avoid long-term inventory (LTI) and develop urgent sales plans to eliminate LTI at both levels.
  • Sales Planning:
    Establish yearly, bi-yearly, and quarterly sales plans in collaboration with product management.
  • Sales Strategy Determination:
    Determine the sales strategy for each product through comprehensive market studies.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Conduct market visits to gather intelligence and insights.
  • Dealer Coverage Expansion:
    Work alongside Area Managers and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to ensure dealer coverage expansion and increase product displays within shops.
  • Distributor Operations Management:
    Oversee day-to-day operations, issues, and requests from distributors.
  • Team Guidance:
    Guide and accompany Area Managers in their daily work, addressing issues and requests.
  • Complaint Management:
    Manage complaints and requests from both distributors and dealer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, with a minimum of [insert years] years in sales.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
