🎯 Job Objective

Lead the company’s Software Development and Quality Assurance (QA) , define the overall technical strategy, and manage development teams.

Drive adoption of global best practices in coding, software testing, DevOps, CI/CD, and project management tools to deliver high-quality, sustainable software products.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

• Define the company’s technical strategy and software development roadmap.

• Align software projects with business goals and market needs.

• Make key technical decisions regarding architecture, methodologies, and tools.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor software developers and QA engineers, monitoring performance.

• Build a high-performance culture and promote continuous learning.

• Ensure the team follows Coding Standards, Code Review processes, and Best Practices.

Software Quality Assurance

• Oversee all QA activities: unit testing, integration, regression, and user acceptance (UAT).

• Monitor QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Xray, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman.

• Review test results, track issues, and ensure defect resolution and system reliability.

Code Management & Workflow

• Define and enforce Git Workflow and version control policies.

• Supervise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker.

• Manage access rights to sensitive modules and repositories.

Innovation & Modern Technologies

• Keep up with emerging trends in DevOps, Cloud, Automation, and Testing.

• Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve development and productivity.

• Lead strategic projects for new product development or improving existing systems.

Coordination with Leadership & Product Teams

• Collaborate with Product Management and Operations to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Provide regular reports on team performance, project progress, and overall technical health.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development and leading technical teams.

• Proven experience in defining software development strategies and QA processes.

• Strong knowledge of Git, workflow management, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.

• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, QA tools, ERP/modules.

• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and API integrations.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.

• Problem-solving and strategic decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in English (and French preferred).

• Organizational skills, discipline, and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
