As a Senior Account Manager for the Transportation Department at Huawei Algeria, you will be responsible for leading business development and client relationship management within Algeria’s transportation industry. Leveraging profound industry insights and robust ICT sales expertise, you will rapidly penetrate the local transportation market, identify and capture new project opportunities, build long-term trusted partnerships with key clients, and drive the implementation growth of Huawei’s ICT solutions in transportation-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
Industry & Market Insight & Business Expansion
Possess in-depth understanding of Algeria’s transportation industry landscape, policy trends, infrastructure construction planning and project investment dynamics, accurately grasp market demand and competitive patterns, and formulate targeted market and account development strategies.
Proactively explore and excavate new project opportunities in the transportation sector, establish a high-quality project pipeline, and promote the whole process from project discovery, demand docking to contract signing and delivery.
Rapidly break through the local market, achieve targeted customer acquisition, and fulfill the department’s business growth targets and sales quotas.
Client Relationship Management & Trust Building
Connect with key clients, technical principals and management teams of transportation industry clients, efficiently conduct high-level business communication.
Build stable, trusted long-term cooperative relationships with clients, deeply understand client business pain points and project demands, and provide customized ICT solution suggestions matching client needs.
Maintain regular client communication and relationship maintenance, resolve client demands and cooperation issues in a timely manner, and enhance client stickiness and satisfaction with Huawei.
ICT Solution Sales & Project Promotion-
Rely on solid professional ICT knowledge to promote Huawei’s end-to-end ICT solutions, products and services for the transportation industry, and clearly interpret the technical advantages and business value of solutions to clients.
Lead cross-functional internal collaboration, complete project proposal preparation, business negotiation, contract negotiation and signing work.
Track the implementation progress of cooperative projects, coordinate internal and external resources to ensure smooth project advancement, and realize the closed-loop of project sales and delivery.
Competitive & Industry Intelligence Tracking-
Monitor market competition dynamics and competitors’ strategies in Algeria’s transportation ICT field, adjust sales and expansion strategies in a timely manner to maintain Huawei’s market competitive advantage.
Collect and sort out industry cutting-edge technologies, project cases and policy changes, and provide effective market and business suggestions for the team’s strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Information Technology, Communication Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields;
Minimum 8 years of working experience in account management, business development or sales in the global ICT industry, with proven track record of achieving sales targets and completing large-scale project deals.
Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and verbal);

Deep insights and rich practical experience in Algeria’s transportation industry project expansion, familiar with local transportation project operation procedures, investment and financing models and market rules, capable of quickly identifying potential project opportunities.
In-depth grasp of core ICT technologies and solutions applied in the transportation industry, with solid professional ICT knowledge reserve.
Business Development & Sales Capability
Outstanding consultative sales capability, able to translate client business demands into targeted ICT solution strategies, and effectively promote project cooperation.
Proven ability to independently expand markets and develop new clients, with rich experience in large-scale, complex project negotiation and deal closing.
Strong business acumen and opportunity capture capability, able to quickly respond to market changes and grasp project expansion windows.
Relationship Management & Communication Skills
Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with strong executive presence to efficiently interact with client senior management and key stakeholders.
Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with clients, accurately grasp client demands, and establish long-term stable strategic cooperative partnerships.
Outstanding team coordination and cross-departmental resource integration capability, able to efficiently promote project cooperation with internal teams.
Professional Literacy

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in senior account management or business expansion for transportation industry in North Africa or Algeria is highly preferred.
Successful experience in promoting large-scale ICT digital transformation projects for government or enterprise clients in the transportation sector.
Familiar with sales and operation models of global leading ICT enterprises, with standardized account management and project operation capabilities.
Rich local client resources and good industry reputation in Algeria’s transportation field.
