Role
- Liaison Between Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborates with sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales goals.
- Acts as a communication channel between product/brand marketing teams and the field sales force.
- Build a strong and consistent a yearly master plan.
- Brand Advocate at Trade Level:
- Ensures that products are represented consistently across retail, wholesale, and distribution channels.
- Data-Driven Strategist:
- Uses market and sales data to design campaigns and promotions that improve sales performance.
- Monitors competitors' activities in trade channels.
- Budget Manager:
- Allocates trade marketing budgets effectively for promotional activities and incentives.
I. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development
- Develop trade marketing strategies tailored to Modern Trade, Retail and Wholesale channels.
- Create annual trade marketing plans to achieve brand goals and sales targets.
2. Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, product launches, and merchandising activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement trade-specific campaigns aligned with overall marketing initiatives.
3. Retailer & Channel Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key retailers and distributors.
- Negotiate shelf space, pricing, and promotional opportunities with trade partners.
4. Market Analysis
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
- Track performance metrics for campaigns and report ROI to stakeholders.
5. Budget Management
- Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor spending to stay within budget and deliver cost-effective campaigns.
6. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales team to align trade marketing strategies with sales objectives.
- Coordinate with brand marketing teams for consistency in messaging and branding.
7. Point of Sale (POS) Materials
- Design and distribute effective POS materials, including displays, posters, Banners, Floor stickers, Shelf talkers, Digital displays, Seasonal Decorations, Flyers and Brochures.
- Ensure materials are optimized for maximum visibility and consumer engagement.
8.Training & Support
- Train sales staff and retailer teams on product benefits, positioning, and marketing strategies.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure promotional success in the trade environment.

IV. Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred for senior roles.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or brand management. Familiarity with FMCG, retail, or Beauty Business is a plus.
