We are seeking experienced Semi-Trailer Drivers to join our dynamic team in Algiers, Algeria. The ideal candidates will have between 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, possess strong leadership skills, and hold a Terminal Level education. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to lead and contribute to our logistics operations as Team Leaders.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate semi-trailer trucks to transport goods across designated routes within and outside Algiers.

• Lead and coordinate a small team of drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of cargo.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery logs.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to optimize delivery schedules.

• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior drivers to improve team performance and safety awareness.

• Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to the maintenance department.

• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience driving semi-trailer trucks, preferably in a leadership role.

• Terminal Level education or equivalent qualification.

• Valid commercial driving license suitable for operating semi-trailers in Algeria.

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide others.

• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus.

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules and routes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Physically fit to handle long hours of driving and occasional manual loading/unloading tasks.
