Job Overview

Our company is seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to supervise daily delivery activities, manage a team of operations members & couriers, and ensure efficient, on-time performance.

Key responsibilities include monitoring routes and dispatch, he implements the service procedures

tracking shipments, handling customer service issues, training staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

Team supervision:

Lead, train, and mentor the operations team members and couriers, and manage their schedules, attendance, and performance.

Operational monitoring:

Oversee and monitor all aspects of the delivery process, including pickups, sorting, and on-time delivery.

Route and dispatch management: Monitor and adjust dispatch to ensure routes are efficient and deliveries are completed on time.

Performance and efficiency:

Track key performance indicators, such as delivery times and productivity, and provide feedback to the team.

Customer service:

Manage issues escalated from customer service

Safety and compliance:

Ensure couriers follow safety regulations, company policies, and maintain a safe work environment.

Administrative tasks:

Handle administrative duties like managing daily reports, tracking incentives, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Required skills and qualifications

• Master’s degree in industrial management and logistics, business administration, Operations Management

• Strong written and verbal communication in Arabic French and English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management, preferably in courier business

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Decision-making skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
