Key Responsibilities
· Monitor day-to-day operations of the team, prioritize and assign tasks to effectively utilize team’s resources, and meet work schedules and targets
· Oversee operations activities to receive in-coming shipment and process out-going shipment within service performance timings
· Contribute to planning and scheduling inventory, and overseeing ordering of products to meet the organization's needs
· Resolve conflicts and assist in coordinating delivery schedules with shippers and customers
· Maintain stock information, monitor daily material movement and actual production schedules versus inventory levels
· Achieve inventory accuracy of customers' inventory by conducting daily/ weekly inventory cycle counts
· Implement safety/ security and inventory control programs to ensure goods and equipment are safely operated, and properly maintained and stored
· Control optimum utilization of warehouse facilities for storing and distributing material goods including raw materials, finished products, tools and packaging materials
· Identify issues and opportunities, and implement improved practices for warehouse and manual handling focusing on promoting efficiency, faster service and lower costs.
