R&D Technician

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Research & Development Technician who will support formulation development, testing, and optimization activities to ensure high-quality products that meet technical and regulatory requirements within defined timelines.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, development, and testing of formulations according to project requirements and timelines.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, record data accurately, and ensure reproducibility of results.
• Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot or production scale under supervision of R&D formulators.
• Participate in the evaluation of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing, stability studies, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Analytical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Production to support technology transfer and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation related to formulation trials and test results.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related scientific field.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in an R&D or pharmaceutical laboratory environment (internship experience accepted).

Languages:

• Good written, read and spoken skills in Arabic, English, and French.

Professional Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of formulation processes for pharmaceutical or cosmetic products.
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and analytical tools.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and safety standards.
• Understanding of documentation practices and quality systems.
• Awareness of ICH and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
