R&D Formulator

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Research & Development Formulator who will contribute to technology transfer, formulation development and optimization to meet product specifications within set timelines and budgets.

Your Responsibilities:

• Scale up formulations to pilot or production scale, ensuring stability for regulatory approval.
• Implement cGLP and GMP standards in all formulation activities.
• Prepare summary reports detailing formulation trials, justifications, and key product specifications.
• Oversee initial production batches, ensuring process efficiency and product quality.
• Select appropriate packaging for developed formulations.
• Support Analytical Development and Regulatory Affairs by preparing required samples for product registration.
• Assist in resolving production issues for both new and existing products.
• Follow SOPs and GMP/GLP regulations to ensure compliance, safety, and best practices in formulation and manufacturing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Degree in Pharmaceutical sciences, Biology, or a related field.

Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulation.

Languages: Good written, read and spoken skills in Arabic, English and French.

Professional Knowledge:

• Knowledge of ICH, GMP, GLP, GDP, and WHO regulatory systems.
• Strong understanding of Pharmacopeia standards (USP, EP, BP, etc.).
• Familiarity with international regulatory guidelines for drug development.
• Proficiency in formulation and process development for pharmaceutical products.
• Knowledge of Ministry of Health regulations and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of drug registration requirements and documentation processes.
