Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Forecasting:

o Support the development, maintenance, and analysis of demand forecasts using statistical tools and software.

o Assist in the preparation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand planning.

o Monitor trends, seasonality, and historical data to forecast demand accurately.

o Adjust forecasts based on new product launches, promotions, and market changes.

2. Inventory Management :

o Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demands while minimizing costs.

o Analyze inventory performance metrics, such as turnover ratios, to optimize stock levels.

o Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to manage inventory replenishment processes.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

o Analyze demand forecasts and actual sales data to identify variances and suggest corrective actions.

o Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and risks to stakeholders.

o Use statistical methods, demand software, and business intelligence tools to improve forecasting accuracy.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

o Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment on forecasts and demand assumptions.

o Serve as the main point of contact between demand planning and supply chain teams.

o Facilitate cross-functional meetings to address supply and demand imbalances.

5. Continuous Improvement:

o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain responsiveness.

o Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to innovate demand planning processes.

o Lead and mentor junior demand planners or analysts as needed.

Qualifications :

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

· Experience:

o + years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related supply chain role.

o Strong experience in using demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, etc.).

· Skills:

o Proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and supply chain principles.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

o Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

o Proficient in Excel, and ERP systems, and familiarity with business intelligence tools.
