Datatyr is a data-focused technology company helping organizations turn raw data into actionable insights. We design, build, and operate analytics platforms for clients across industries — with a focus on modern, cloud-based architectures and intuitive business intelligence solutions.
We are looking for a Data Analyst / BI Developer to join our growing analytics team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, writing optimized SQL queries, and collaborating on data modeling and integration tasks. Experience with cloud data warehouses and modern BI tools is highly appreciated.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
Contribute to the design and maintenance of data models (star schema, snowflake schema).
Work with data lakes / warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS S3, Azure Synapse, or BigQuery).
Implement data governance, access control, and versioning best practices.
Support end-users by translating business needs into data-driven insights.
(Nice to have) Develop or maintain dashboards on Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
(Nice to have) Assist in integrating data from multiple sources via APIs or ETL tools.
Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
Strong knowledge of SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance optimization).
Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
Ability to communicate complex data in a clear, visual, and actionable manner.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
Familiarity with Apache Superset or Tableau / Looker / Metabase.
Understanding of Python or R for data analysis or automation.
Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
Knowledge of data security and access management best practices.
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in BI development or data analytics (internship experience acceptable for junior roles).
