Danone MENA is seeking a talented Business Controller for our Maghreb Cluster, to be based in Algeria. In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, you will support the Controlling Lead in budget management, distributor follow-up, and financial monitoring, with a special focus on Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia, managing a cross-border scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Controlling and business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.

  • Work in partnership with the Demand Planner to build volume forecasts, perform COGS valuation, prepare country-level P&Ls, and identify risks and opportunities,

  • Act as a strategic finance partner for Sales, Planning, and Marketing teams across the Maghreb region (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia).

  • Participate in distributor contract reviews, including payment terms, value chain, and incoterms.

  • Coordinate and control budgets for A&P, Trade Promotions, and other selling costs.

  • Oversee topline controlling, variance analysis, and related forecasting (net sales variance).

  • Monitor distributor collections and customer accounts receivable in Morocco and Tunisia, in coordination with the Business Services team.

  • Conduct profitability analysis by SKU and manage trade promotions by distributor.

  • Assist the Controlling Manager in maintaining a strong control environment and support year-end statutory audits, Danone internal audit requirements, and legal reporting.

  • Propose and implement new business processes and procedures to drive efficiency.

Education & Experience

  • Graduation from a business school with a major in Finance or Accounting.

  • Qualified accountant (CPA, CMA, or equivalent).

  • Proven experience 4-5 years in a similar role within a matrixed or multinational environment

  • Strong financial planning and analysis capabilities.

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Track record of meeting reporting deadlines and ensuring data accuracy.
