Area Sales Supervisor

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, your main mission is to develop and increase BAT Algeria's market share by managing the performance and energy of your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement an Area Trade Marketing & Distribution plan that meets regional objectives and aligns with the Trade Marketing & Distribution strategy.

• Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume, market share, quality (e.g., RQI), and customer pricing are achieved within the assigned area.

• Provide trade marketing competitor activity reports to ensure the management team remains fully informed.

• Provide accurate day-to-day forecasting to manage stock supply to local distributor warehouses, ensuring optimal availability to meet demand and maximize product freshness at the point of sale.

• Manage distributors to maximize volume, visibility, and in-store presence within agreed budgets.

• Track and evaluate the performance of the Trade Marketing & Distribution team.

• Manage the implementation of agreed action plans following distribution gap analysis.

• Implement and evaluate cycle plan objectives.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Essential Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, including team management responsibilities.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within the FMCG industry.

• Valid Category B driving license.

Technical, Functional & Leadership Skills

• Proficient in trade systems, Excel, and numerical analysis.

• Strong communication skills and analytical mindset.

• Resilient, flexible, and self-driven.

Education, Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commercial Sciences or an equivalent field.

• Fluency in French and Arabic.

• Intermediate level of English.
