Video Editor (Mapping Animations) — TikTok Channel Earth.Minute

We’re hiring a Video Editor skilled in map animations and fast, engaging short-form edits for our TikTok channel @earth.minute.

Responsibilities

• Edit short videos with geography/map animations (borders, routes, timelines, labels).
• Sync visuals with Russian-language voiceover (you don’t need to speak Russian, just align audio/visuals).
• Add basic sound designs
• Deliver platform-ready vertical videos (9:16, 1080×1920, <60 seconds).

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showing map/geo animations (After Effects, or similar).
• Experience with short-form storytelling: pacing, hooks.
• Basic English (to follow briefs and add captions).
• Reliable delivery and quick turnarounds.
• Willing to complete a paid test video if shortlisted.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with geographic data (shapefiles/GeoJSON), motion templates, or kinetic typography.
• Experience optimizing for TikTok retention (hooks, cuts, captions).
