The Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the organization’s cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk. This role ensures liquidity is maintained, payments are processed efficiently, and treasury operations comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.

• Accounting input of treasury transactions.

• Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts

• Manage bank accounts, including reconciliations and maintenance

• Process and oversee payments (wire transfers, checks, electronic payments)

• Handle company petty cash process ( funding and expenses)

• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, controls, and regulatory requirements

• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for treasury-related matters

• Prepare treasury reports for management (cash position, forecasts, variances)

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to treasury

• Assist in implementing treasury systems and process improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance

• Strong understanding of banking operations

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
