We are seeking a reliable and organized Storeman to manage warehouse operations and inventory control activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials while ensuring stock accuracy, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against delivery documents.

• Prepare and issue Goods Received Notes (GRN) for materials received in good condition.

• Ensure all stock items are properly stored, identified, and labeled with Part Number, Description, Location, Price, and Equipment/Machine Type.

• Issue materials, spare parts, consumables, chemicals, seeds, fertilizers, and PPE to relevant departments.

• Prepare and issue Goods Outward Notes (GON) for all authorized dispatches.

• Operate the weighbridge for incoming and outgoing goods and ensure weighing accuracy.

• Monitor and control stock movements while maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations.

• Maintain adequate stock levels and initiate replenishment requests for low-stock items.

• Ensure all inventory records are accurate and up to date.

• Organize the warehouse to ensure materials are easily accessible, identifiable, and countable.

• Implement and maintain the FIFO (First In, First Out) system to prevent material expiration and obsolescence.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures related to stock control and warehouse management.

• Safeguard inventory and ensure the security of stock at all times.

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Participate in manual handling and warehouse activities when required.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

• Provide recommendations to management regarding inventory control and stock management improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 01 year of experience in warehouse, stores, or inventory management.

• Good understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Forklift operating certification is an advantage.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
