1. Key Responsibilities

These responsibilities combine procurement category leadership standards with livestock‑specific procurement duties:

Category Strategy & Governance

• Develop and execute category strategies covering livestock, feed, veterinary supplies, vaccines, and animal‑health products.

Supplier & Market Management

• Identify, qualify, and manage livestock and animal‑health suppliers; maintain long‑term strategic partnerships.

Quality, Welfare & Compliance

• 2. Required Experience & Skills

  Experience

  • 5–10 years of procurement experience, ideally in agriculture, livestock sourcing, veterinary products, or food production supply chains.

  • Proven experience in category management, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
    

  • Experience managing complex, regulated supply categories (animal health, feed, veterinary pharmaceuticals).

  Technical Skills

  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier‑relationship management skills.
