Baladna Dairy Farm Project – Adrar, Algeria

The Baladna Dairy Farm Project in Adrar, Algeria, is being implemented within the framework of a strategic partnership between Baladna Q.P.S.C. and the Government of Algeria.

The project is located in Timokten, approximately 100 kilometers from the city of Adrar and around 1,435 kilometers southwest of Algiers.

Its operations will be carried out across three distinct sites in southern Algeria, primarily within the province of Adrar. Covering a total area of about 117,000 hectares, the Baladna Algeria Project encompasses three major pillars:

  • The production of cereals and fodder
  • Cattle farming for the production of milk and meat
  • A state-of-the-art milk powder processing facility

The project will be executed in several phases, ultimately reaching a production capacity of 198,000 tons of milk powder.

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding qualified candidates. This role will work closely with hiring managers to ensure timely and effective hiring that supports the company’s growth and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job requirements.
  • Source candidates using a variety of channels (job boards, social media, networking, referrals).
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ skills and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires to ensure smooth integration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or psychology.
  • 03 years of proven experience in recruitment .
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with an ATS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Taleo, etc.).

  • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
