Main Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for manufacturing parts essential for milk production. Focus on cost optimization, supplier reliability, and compliance with FMCG standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch, develop & manage RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and tender processes in compliance with internal procurement policies & achieve the best value for the company
• Coordinate with related Business Units to establish and consolidate all procurement requirements and confirm technical/commercial specifications.
• Analyze offers, evaluate suppliers, and contribute to supplier selection based on price, quality, and lead time.
• Ensure full adherence to procurement procedures, internal controls , food safety and regulatory standards throughout the process.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) using SAP.
• Follow up on order delivery, manage discrepancies, and ensure smooth reception of goods/services.
• Collect and verify supplier invoices and ensure accurate payment processing in collaboration with the finance department.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement workflows and SAP utilization.
• Implement and actively enforce compliance to work processes to ensure the health and safety of employees and the protection of the environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English & French
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electric, Mechanic, Supply Chain) Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing. FMCG is ++
• Strong knowledge of local and international procurement laws and procedure
• Proven experience in SAP (MM module preferred): creating PRs, POs, and tracking deliveries.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, Detail-oriented, cost-focused, and compliance-driven.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication and supplier relationship skills.
