As part of a temporary need, we are recruiting a Sales Engineer for a 5-month period, offering an attractive compensation package.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Identify research and contact prospective customers and
Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Respond to customer inquiries
Provide sales and technical support
Strong technical knowledge about Seals, and ability to read and mechanical drawing, identify product and coordinate with engineering.
Managing and maintaining all aspects of customer contracts
Study all tenders and work with regional customer service team and logistics to define price levels
Coordinate and liaise with customer services coordinator to produce proper technical and commercial quotations
Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets
Refer sales leads customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
Lead the Order to remittance process OA, supply chain follow up, and coordinate with internal structure CST, logistics, fulfilment as well as with customer. In addition to have a good knowledge on the administrative process related to customs, banks, tax and other parties in the process.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Education/Training: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar field
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in engineering and sales
Knowledge/Skills: Engineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.
A strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio.
Experience & knowledge of Oil & Gas market in Algeria

Languages: English, French and Arabic.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is typically considered an office environment during normal or extended business hours, with travel requirement locally in Algeria about 30% to 40% occasionally.
